Panel: Recent and Planned Developments in the Norwegian Sector of the Barents Sea

Houston, TX - ATC 2018 – Speakers and audience during the Recent and Planned Developments in the Norwegian Sector of the Barents Sea panel session at the Arctic Technology Conference, an OTC event, at the Hilton Americas on Wednesday, 7 November 2018. A small number of fields are in operation. Operational experience is being gained and used for other fields which are undergoing exploration. As a result, new field developments are being planned. In parallel, active research and development is being executed to enhance the operational safety and efficiency of oil and gas projects in the Barents Sea while taking due regard for people and the environment. The Arctic Technology Conference is built upon OTC’s successful multidisciplinary approach, delivering the world’s most comprehensive Arctic event.
