TECHNICAL SESSION: Arctic Operations

Houston, TX - ATC 2018 – Speakers and audience during the Arctic Operations technical session at the Arctic Technology Conference, an OTC event, at the Hilton Americas on Monday, 5 November 2018.Various new technologies to aid Arctic operations including iceberg discrimination, autonomous technologies for rapid response, the usage of unmanned aerial vehicles for iceberg surveying, monitoring and iceberg tracking will be presented in this technical session. The integration of multi-mission satellite data, weather and ice formation, and use of digital buoys, as well as, measurements to determine ownership of oil and gas resources in the Arctic will be discussed. The Arctic Technology Conference is built upon OTC’s successful multidisciplinary approach, delivering the world’s most comprehensive Arctic event.
